goldendeal Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 The Hyatt hotel was recently sold to Loews. They no longer have a casino or lounge. Maybe trying for the family business Vegas is starting to turn away from. Not sure if they will continue with priceline, I havent seen the Loews brand hotel on priceline before but anything is possible .
dahammer Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 several Loews hotels have reported Priceline wins.
goldendeal Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 Cool , maybe i will be next! Would enjoy a stay here. I looked for the wins but didnt see any on this hotel yet. Oh well.

wishful Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 FYI - Burbank Hilton Name/Chain Change To Marriott"As reported in the December 15, 2006, Burbank Leader, the Hilton Burbank Airport and Convention Center has changed ownership and has become affiliated with the Marriott hotel chain. The new name of the hotel is the Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel and Convention Center."Google searches will bring up this hotel under both chain names. Note that there is also a Courtyard By Marriott about 2 miles away. Marriott searches will sometimes bring up one and not the other.Check the address: 2500 Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505-1019 ************************ Looking to see how far I can make 4.95 days of vacation go...

dahammer Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 the 3* Somerset-Brunswick (Somerset-Piscataway-South Plainfield) Marriott is now the 3*Somerset Plaza At Garden State Expo Center. I wonder what will happen to the concierge level with the smoked salmon and bagels for breakfast?
WillTravel Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 Priceline used to have a category for Paris that was above the standard 4*, but not called 5* (I can't remember the exact name). However, it appears that Priceline now offers bidding at 2*, 3*, and 4* levels only, and no longer includes that extra level above. So hotels like Hotel Scribe and the Intercontinental Grand that used to be in this category would presumably be encompassed in the "regular" 4* bidding now.
thereuare Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 Thanks for making everyone aware. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

gmc Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Please note this change:The former Tremont Wyndam is now a Marriot Courtyard might come up as a 2.5* or 3* on HW or PL. Has anyone seen this yet?
