ylee629 Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 I need help to identify hotwire 3* hotel in San Diego (La Mesa area), CA.Amenities: continental breakfast, pool, internetHoliday inn La Mesa is the only 3* hotel I can find in that area, but it doesn't offer continental breakfast. So, need help to identify it. Thanks!
thereuare Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 This property has not yet been reported to the board, but the Holiday Inn Express in this zone has these amenities and that would be my best guess. (the Travelodge and Heritage Inn also have these amenities but i suspect they would each be rated less than 3* by HOTWIRE)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. ylee629 Posted December 21, 2009 Author Report Posted December 21, 2009 Hi, Thanks for your prompt reply, but I still got a little confused. 1. Hotel rating : According to hotwire and TripAdvisor rating, Holiday inn express is 2.5*, not 3*. Only Holiday Inn La Mesa is 3* in that area.2. Breakfast: the accurate offer by this hotel is complimentary breakfast (the rate include continental or full breakfast).Yet, Holiday inn express has continental breakfast, but Holiday Inn doesn't. (even though Holiday Inn has a restaurant) Thank you so much!
Colfax Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 A 2.5* on TripAdvisor can be a 3* on HOTWIRE. They don't use the same scale. Sometimes the rating will match on both services but many times it doesn't.
