Welcome to BetterBidding!

The property above also shows a Triadvisor rating of 4.0/5.0 which would make it a match for the Parc 55 so that would be our best guess.

Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.

Did you BF's company make arrangements for the first nites of his stay OR did you book thru PRICELINE / HOTWIRE an get reimburssed? Where will he be staying for the first 3 nites before your arrival?

For these last 3 nites, what is it that you're looking for from this stay?

The Business of Software 2009 is being held in the Westin Market Street in San Francisco.

The booking was mabe by my Bf company, could not tell you the price they have.

We're looking for a hotel around san Francisco because we're going to rent a car and I think the parking of those hotel has better prices. And I want a 4 stars at least with a good note on Tripadvisor too.

Thank you ;-)

These aren't the usual areas we see for the typical 'tourist', nor does the typical visitor rent a car if looking to stay/sightsee Downtown... do you not intend to head downtown each day? Where do you intend to go/see during this stay?

Ok That's it,

I want to book my hotel today and if I take time to answer all your questions...I'll still be here at the end of the week.

Yes I'm a tourist, yes I want to stay outside san Francisco and rent a car and yes it's my business if I want to do that.

I did not know that asking for help would in exchange required for me to display my life's choice.

Have a nice day.

I would like to choose between this hotel and 4 others...

To properly research the hotels you asked about would take a significant amount of time (which we're willing to put forth the effort... sorry if you're not) but don't want to waste time either (like searching for a 9 nite hotel stay when your plans are not yet firm :) ). Since the zones you requested are 'outside of the norm' from what we typically see asked about, and your original request was for a Downtown hotel (very different than the current zones), we were trying to clarify your plans and confirm that you are familiar with the area and know what you're looking for, before resarching the properties above.

Hope you find what you're looking for and enjoy your stay.

Katchoo - You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.

Thereuare will go the extra mile to help you, but you need to be nice!

I've helped research HW hotels loads of times and never gotten so much as a thank you.

Most of us don't get paid anything, yet we're willing to help. So really, chill.

Gallus50 : I love honey :)

I knew that i asked a lot (5 hotels to be checked)...

That is why the first hotel on my list would have been fine.

And I must admit, that I did loose my cool with the 20 questions. :o

I'm a libra and making a choice can sometimes be very difficult :)

Thank you

Regarding the first hotel, the 4* in Santa Clara...

That hotel hasn't been identified yet. Based on the 4/5 TripAdvisor rating I think either Hilton Santa Clara or Plaza Suites is most likely. It's not the Hyatt because Hyatt's a 3.5* on TripAdvisor. Hilton and Plaza Suites both have the icons you listed, but I lean more towards Hilton.

As for the 4* in San Mateo-Redwood City, I think that's probably the Marriott San Mateo. The Marriott hasn't been reported with a Smokefree icon before but it is a smoke-free hotel and the TripAdvisor stats (3.5/5) also match the Marriott. The Sofitel has smoking rooms so it's not that.

I can't ID the others now but maybe someone else can.

Colfax : Thank you for you reply.

Yesterday night, my BF ask me to make the reservation Already :)

And you were right Colfax, we had the Hilton Santa Clara.

Because of the last few days, I'm starting to be very good at IDeing hotels...

Next trip I'll try it on my own and then post my guest, we'll see if I was right. :)

Have a nice day.

Hi Katchoo -

Just wanted to mention that if you're mostly interested in seeing SF, Santa Clara is a bit of a hike and traffic, especially at rush hour, can be bad. Parking downtown is also notoriously expensive. That is probably why Thereuare was asking you more ???s.

From where you're staying, Palo Alto, Portola Redwoods State Park, Santa Cruz and Monterey are not too far.

Hope this helps.
