AaronJB Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 Unfortunately, this hotel has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, and I'm having difficulty finding a match. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
texashighway Posted August 25, 2009 Author Report Posted August 25, 2009 After further digging, it appears this property may be the Citigarden Hotel SFO, formerly the Good Nite Inn. The amenities match up with the hotel's website and the traveler's ratings/reviews are a close match. Perhaps Hotwire upgraded the recently renamed hotel to a 2.5 *. Some recent reviews are negative, pointing out construction noise and other inconveniences as they undergo renovations. I will regroup and decide what to do in the next couple days or so.
Colfax Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 I see your HOTWIRE hotel but with 200+ TripAdvisor reviews now, not 180+. The numbers might have refreshed in the hours since you last posted. The CitiGarden has a 3.5* TripAdvisor rating and 202 reviews and the icons match. CitiGarden (formerly the Goodnight Inn) is my best guess too.For $46 I think you can probably get a 3* or 2.5* bid accepted on PRICELINE in the SFO or South SF zones and whatever hotel you get it would be a step up from the CitiGarden.
texashighway Posted August 27, 2009 Author Report Posted August 27, 2009 In spite of (or because of) this Hotwire property dropping its price to $37, I opted for a 3* on Priceline in SFO. Starting at $42 and inching my way up to $43, and then $44, I hit the jackpot at $45. Here are the details:Holiday Inn Sfo Intl Arpt275 South Airport BlvdSouth San Francisco, CA 94080650-873-3550Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $45.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $45.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $14.05 (USD) Total Room Cost: $59.05 (USD) Checkin: 9/1/09As always, I used the PRICELINE link on this forum.
