chpcruzr Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in via priceline. This should not have been a 1*. We got a complete refund from Priceline because this hotel was disgusting. There was a pair of dirty socks in the bed (under the sheets) when we checked in (obviously sheets had not been washed), we changed rooms but should have changed hotels. Woke up with some sort of insect bites all over our legs. I've stayed in much nicer Motel 6's. The lobby was wonderful, that where it stops.Marriott San Francisco Downtown Check-In Date: Saturday, July 27, 2002 Check-Out Date: Sunday, July 28, 2002 South Of Market - Convention Center55 Fourth Street San Francisco, California 94103 415-896-1600Reservation Information: Your Offer Price: $80.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $80.00 Taxes: $10.36 Processing Fee: $5.95 Total Charges: $96.31
WillTravel Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 What procedure did you have to go through to get a refund? Did Priceline give you any trouble? This sounds like everyone's nightmare. I was reading on FlyerTalk about some article which apparently suggests that some hotels do not change sheets between customers - I decided not to think too much about that.
