urso_polar Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Planning a driving vacation to Indiana, so I have some flexiblity on location along the way. Any HOTWIRE chains that are likely to accept my labrador retriever ? 2nd order preference would be 2.5 or 3 * rating. I would then check where the chain has hotels along the route & confirm with the hotel before purchasing.thanks Mark
powerplantop Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 You can find good info here http://www.petswelcome.com/
Gallus50 Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 Also check dogfriendly.com. They have a list of dogfriendly chains and individual hotels in different cities. Difficult to book dog-friendly through HOTWIRE, I think.
AaronJB Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 I wouldn't recommend using HOTWIRE to book a pet-friendly property, as there's no way to specify that/know for sure. If you can single out a pet-friendly hotel, deal0hotel is a coupon code that should take 10% off at many hotels on Orbitz.com.Please use the site's Orbitz.com link if you go this route.
Colfax Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 La Quinta accepts dogs (I know...La Quinta accepts anyone) and LQ is a big participant in HOTWIRE. You won't be able to pre-identify a LQ on Hotwire everywhere you stop but you ought to be able to find a few.
