I am about to book a hotel in Philly for April 29th (1 night) and May 1st (1 night) and also a room in Atlantic City on April 30th for one night. This site has been helpful for me in figuring some things out......what is the link you talk about following?

If I do the Philadelphia Airport-Stadium area at 2.5* would I be likely to get this hotel or are there others in this area at 2.5*? (It is the only I have seen)

Thanks in advance

these amenities match those of the Quality Hotel - Philadelphia Airport

is there any reason that you want to stay in the Airport stadium area? Are you attending an event?

Yes, I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Stadium before and will be going to a baseball game, it's convenient.....however, not so much since they include the airport in the area.

Any tips on getting the Stadium hotel?

I was thinking of going to that game, but the Mets fans are a nasty bunch even when travelling, especially to Philly. Losing to the Phils in the past two years won't improve their disposition, but its a new year and hope springs eternal.

You can't possibly target the Holiday Inn, especially when there's a game, the hotel sells or is close to sell out. You're best bet is to get a room in the Center City zone and take the Broad Street Subway to the game, $2 each way. For example, if you stayed at the Warwick, you'd walk about 4 blocks to the Walnut Locust station and take it to the end and then walk a few blocks with all of the other Phillies fans to Citizens Bank Park. Its really a great way to go to a game, and you can come back to center city afterwards.

Yeah. You are probably right. Thank you. Was thinking about going to Cheerleaders after the game though. :) Could probably take a cab from there I suppose.

a fan of Ballet as well, nice :)

after the game, you can exit the stadium through a restaurant/bar called McFaddens for an after game libation, its a fun crowd.

you might also want to consider a hotel along the waterfront, there are a ton of bars and restaurants in the old city/penns landing area.

Sir I see you are familiar with the Philly area. We are going to the Army-Navy game Dec. 12. Could you be so kind to help with where to stay and get around (rent a car) or ??. The above McFaddens sound interesting.
