Hotwire Hotel: 4* hotel in Palm Springs

I am looking at a hotel in Palm Springs for the nights of March 20-22 and I have come up with the following:

4-star hotel in Palm Springs - Cathedral City - $121

Resort, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Golf, Spa, Tennis

4-star hotel in Rancho Mirage - Palm Desert - $264

Resort, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Golf, Internet access, Tennis

Any ideas ?

It's a quirk of HOTWIRE that there's only room to display 8 icons on the initial display screens. Some hotels have more than 8 icons and to view them all you have to click "Continue", then "See All Amenities".

The first hotel really has 8 amenities. The second one has SPA and CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES in addition to the 8 you posted.

Neither hotel displays its TripAdvisor stats but those icon sets show up in Hotwire Vacation Packages for known hotels. The 4* in PS-CC looks like the Riviera and the 4* in RM-PD looks like La Quinta Resort.

I suspect you can beat those prices on PRICELINE.
