OkieLora Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 I had a few questions, and I hope these have not been asked a hundred times as I am still reading and learning.First, if I look through the hotels on Priceline in the area I want is it possible to get a hotel not listed?Do you generally get better rates if reserving several rooms as opposed to one? Like if myself and several others got together to rent rooms would we get a better deal? Are there any other tips or advice I should know? Thanks in Advance, LoraP.S. I am sure more questions will pop up as I read more.
Colfax Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding, OkieLora.First, if I look through the hotels on Priceline in the area I want is it possible to get a hotel not listed?Yes, it's very possible. Hardly a day goes by that someone doesn't report winning a hotel that wasn't on the Priceline Hotel List. When a new hotel is reported the Hotel List is updated.Do you generally get better rates if reserving several rooms as opposed to one? Like if myself and several others got together to rent rooms would we get a better deal? The Priceline rate per room is the same regardless of how many rooms you buy. If you're looking for more than one room you should purchase them in one transaction though. Otherwise you and your friends might end up at different hotels.

Or do you mean on their website? Thanks for your input. I am trying to convince my husband this is a good idea. We don't have any idea where to stay for a TaeKwonDo compatition so atleast this way it might be cheap.Lora
