Grkbella03
I'm looking to bid on a 4 star hotel in Miami during March 24th to March 27th. What hotels are available through priceline and what would be the best bidding prices? Or in general, a great hotel on the beach in miami area that's good for swimming. My budget is under 120 a night. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! You'll never be able to see/know all the hotels PRICELINE offers in this area, but you can see hotels previously reported to the board thru in the Priceline Hotel List. As well you can do a search on PRICELINE to see all hotels offered thru their "retail" product (where the name of the hotel is shown before your purchase). However, not all hotels which are offered thru the retail product participate in the 'name your own price' version of PRICELINE, and vice-versa, so even looking at our hotel lists and the 'retail' list will not ensure that you are seeing every hotel possible. As well, if you "name your own price" on PRICELINE you can't choose a 'hotel that is great for swimming'... you can only choose the minimum star rating you're willing to accept and the geographic area, as defined by the boundaries on PRICELINE's map of the zone. I don't know South Beach enough to know of there are better swimming beaches than others. If there is something in particular you're looking for (ie- a swimming beach) than HOTWIRE may be a better option since you can often take an 'educated guess' at identifying the properties beforehand based upon the star rating and amenity combinations shown, and therefore know if the property will likely meet your needs. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. You might find something downtown but honestly it will hard to get any good deals on the beach. Just giving you the heads up and good luck. :) Link to comment
