  2. Excited about my win.... Not only was everything in the area priced a lot higher, this hotel was completely sold out. Of course, I used the betterbidding HOTWIRE link.
  3. Thanks..... To Clarify the zone was Lancaster West..... It was not shared with Reading Reading was its own independent category when bidding on Priceline. The hotel was great..... Only real complaints were the lack of a concierge and the parking. $16 a day at the self park lot which is connected to the hotel, but in and out privileges were included. The staff had no real recommendations except what was nearby. Despite those points, I would recommend this hotel for anyone especially at that price.
  4. Wow it was tough to get a deal, I guess because of the time of the year, but persistence paid off. Yes, I used the betterbidding PRICELINE link, Of course! Offer Price: avg. per room, per night $95.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 2 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: $190.00 Taxes & Fees: $31.62 Total Charged to Card: $221.62
  5. A good deal, I hope its a good hotel. Rooms: 1 Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $250.00 Taxes & Fees: $42.88 Total Charged to Card: $282.88
  6. Was hoping for the Grand Cypress, but got this hotel. I have written Priceline in hopes that they remove this hotel from the resort level as I feel its not meritful of being in that category. Its only a 3 diamond hotel. I have used priceline many times and of course I used the PRICELINE link on the website. I can only hope that Priceline does the right thing about this hotel, but I guess I still did save $150 on the whole trip. Maybe, I am just spoiled.
  7. March 24-28th is the annual Winte rMusic conference which is one of the biggest events that hits South Beach after the Boat Show. You might find something downtown but honestly it will hard to get any good deals on the beach. Just giving you the heads up and good luck. :)
  8. I recently stayed at the Aruba Marriott Stellaris and Casino from 01/15-01/20 for $130 a night. First bid was $115 then $120 had to jump to $130 since I had an AA airline hold that was expiring. It was a decent resort but I know March is Peak season so you might have to bid more. When I was there I was curious and asked the sttaff what occupancy and they told me between 60-80% which was off for them, so maybe you will get lucky. Good Luck! :)
