dc3 Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 The Loew's Ventana Canyon is on the packages side at a good price. Over on the opaque side, the amenities list for the Loew's is sneaky. The main page that lists all Tucson properties has a 4*resort for Foothills with no Spa listed. But when you go to the "continue" page and click on "list all amentiies" it includes "Spa" (but not "Children's activities). This matches the amenties on the HOTWIRE list on this board. Of course you can bid lower on PRICELINE in the same area (called La Paloma/Ventana).
Colfax Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Over on the opaque side, the amenities list for the Loew's is sneaky.The first page of a HOTWIRE hotel listing only has room for 8 icons. If a hotel has more than 8 icons you have to click the "View All Amenities" link to see them all. Loew's has been variously reported with 9 or 10 icons, so 1 or 2 of icons won't show up on the initial listing screen.
