cfl122
Looking for a (under $65 inclusive of taxes) clean and comfortable hotel in the vicinity (+- 15 miles) of Seattle (preferably with free breakfast) for two nights. Any recomendations? Thanks in advance Link to comment
WillTravel
You can't be sure of a free breakfast unless you use Hotwire, and you see Complimentary Breakfast as one of the icons listed for that hotel. If you look at the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE zone maps, which zones are you willing to stay in? Link to comment
cfl122
Hi Wiltravel, I am flexible as to location. However, I am looking for value for money. Link to comment
Colfax
With your budget I presume you don't want a hotel with pay parking so I'd avoid bidding the following zones on Priceline:Downtown-Pike PlaceDowntown-Space NeedleLake UnionAirport SEAIn Bellevue zone at least one hotel charges for parking, and I'm not sure about the rest.Options where you have a good chance of winning for $65 or less with free parking include:3*/2.5* Renton/Kent2.5* North Everett3*/2.5* Lynnwood-Edmonds3*/2.5* Bothell2.5* University-NorthgateFree breakfast might or might not be included at any of the above. There are a number of Extended Stay Americas around Seattle that you can often get in the $30's, or even $20's. I don't know your opinion of ESAs and I haven't listed them as options. They're the cheapest thing in town but not necessarily the best "value for the money". Link to comment
Colfax
HOTWIRE has three hotels with "free breakfast" icon for under $65. You can probably beat these prices on Priceline, but no guarantee you'll win the same hotel or another hotel with free breakfast.3* Bothell-Kirkland $592.5* Bothell-Kirkland $553* Kent $64 Link to comment
cfl122
Thanks everyone!Did booked thru PRICELINE. For $48, got Country Inn and Suites, Bothell (2*) Link to comment
Colfax
Great! And you won a hotel with free breakfast.Country Inn was last reported as a 2.5* and it shows as 2.5* in Priceline's retail section. Can you confirm the rating of the hotel you won? Link to comment
