This should work almost every time unless there is a big event such as the NASCAR race going on in Loudon, NH. (Sept. 14, 2008 will be the next NASCAR race in Loudon) Extended Stay America during big events locks out Priceline bids from the hotel so they can crank up the hotel rates.

If your a registered user of PRICELINE.com and have your credit card info already stored on their site. Follow these simple steps!!

Your Dates

Select Merrimack/Nashua

Select 1 star

Bid $33.00

Type your reservation name

Next web page:

Review your request

With your bid at $33.00 for 1 day plus taxes and service fees of $10.14 == $43.14

If you do 2 days: $33.00 x 2 days == $66.00 plus taxes and service fees of $13.59 == $79.59

Select your payment info and click on "BUY MY HOTEL ROOM NOW."

The results will be that PRICELINE will upgrade you to a 2 star hotel which will be the Extended Stay America Boston/Nashua for your $33.00 bid!!!

I haven't needed to use 2* because my bids at $33.00 always are accepted getting me the Extended Stay America. I've stayed there many times and it's a decent place. I doubt finding a better deal than this in Nashua.

I think the question is why take the risk of bidding the 1* level.. why not start at the 2* level? :) If you're 1* bid is upgraded to a 2* hotel, then a 2* bid would be accepted at that price as well... so why not just bid $33 at the 2* level?

UPDATE UPDATE!!!

As I pointed out, the lock out of Priceline bids has begun by Extended Stay America Nashua, NH as of today, Wednesday September 10, 2008. With the NASCAR race going on Sunday they will be cranking up --no pun lol --- the rates for the weekend. Priceline request will probably be accepted again on Monday September 15 at the good old bid rate of $33.00 !!!
