This was discussed on a previous thread. Maybe act as if nothing is wrong - you just want to add another name so that person can check in first.

I agree that the above approach is probably best... although i remember thesqueegeekid having a problem once as the clerk didn't actually put his friend's name in the computer. He entered the hotel at 2am to find his friend sleeping on the couch! :)

I called Marriott central reservations and the CSR added her name to the reservation. I'll call again to make sure, it is really in there and will call the hotel directly on the day of check-in and tell them again. Hopefully that does the trick. :)
