thereuare Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 Use our BetterChecker to help research rates at a 4* hotel in this zone for your dates... then use whatever you feel is an appropriate discount to your best deal to account for the 'unknown' factor or an opaque purchase to set your maximum bid. tivi Posted March 14, 2008 Author Report Posted March 14, 2008 won Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach for $60 + $15 tax = $75 ... is this a good hotel ?Use our BetterChecker to help research rates at a 4* hotel in this zone for your dates... then use whatever you feel is an appropriate discount to your best deal to account for the 'unknown' factor or an opaque purchase to set your maximum bid.
Colfax Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 The Hyatt Newport Beach is a nice hotel, tivi, and $60 is a good deal but the Hyatt's not in the Disneyland zone. Isn't Disneyland where you wanted to bid?
tivi Posted March 17, 2008 Author Report Posted March 17, 2008 yes, we want the disney area but this hotel is not that far from disney area [i hope] thanks.
blkjck1 Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 It's not that far, but it's not that close either. You will certainly need a car. It's not that far by SoCal standards, but you'll be driving 18+ miles along 3 different freeways (the 73, 55, and 5) to get there. If you aren't comfortable driving on the SoCal freeways, it can be a bit of a haul to get there. Proud to be Canadian!
