Priceline Hotel: 3* Vancouver Plaza 500

This was my very first mistake using Priceline, I was in a hurry, tried first 4* in Vancouver, but I really wanted Surrey ( if you see my other post I got it), started at $63, rejected, tried 65$ in Surrey, rejected, went down to 3 * and tried $66 and sure enough it came back with Plaza 500 in Vancouver.... I know, I know.... but it was my first and hopefully my only error I will make :) ..... anyways not to worry, our son is getting engaged next month, so I will buy champagne, chocolates and give them the room for an engagement present ( I had to think of something !!) It still is a great price. Not right downtown but close enough.

That's a great attitude!

If you are from the Vancouver area, you likely know this, but two nice things they can do from that location:

1) Walk down to Stamps Landing and take a ferry around False Creek or across to Yaletown.

2) Walk down to Stamps Landing and continue along the footpath to Granville Island. This is very nice at night, also, because you get a great view with the lights.

I don't think there should be a problem with adding your son to the reservation, particularly if he has the same last name as you, but you could give the hotel a call.

THanks WillTravel, we actually live in Yaletown, and he lives in False Creek, so everything is close.. and I will probably just give my new "daughter-in-law" my credit card and it should be good....
