unsuccessful bidding for a same day hotel in the EWR zone, so I saw this 2* in the Plainfield zone with Breakfast and Golf icons, so I went for it....

1 room @ $76.00

Taxes recovery charges and fees: $18.36

Total $94.36

The rack rate here was $89, so after taxes, my savings totaled $7, enough for an extra value meal at McD's....had I reserved through the HoJo website and entered my Triprewards ID number, I would have received 0.5 flight segment into my Southwest Airlines account. Two stays booked through Triprewards earns a $25 Gift Card.

Don't you hate that, I was looking at hotwire for my trip in Late Oct and I was matching up the hotels based on the list here and noticed that all of the options would only save me like $5 a night. I realize they don't want to give you the lowest rate possible that they can sell it for but that is just rediculous.
