Cyn Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 Hi I was also looking at the 4 * Downtown Boston presumably Intercontinental. It is $129 on on Hotwire and recently picked up on Priceline at $116 plus tax & fee at $139.15. I tried to find mention of fees & tax on Hotwire to see what the differnce is. Any clues which would be better to use?
Liset Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 CYN, I stayed at the Intercontinental in April for a $129 Hotwire price and the total came to $149.40 with taxes and fees. And yes, I'm the winner of the $116 bid.Thereuare, I've just discovered this board but promise to post future stays and book through your links from now on! So happy to have found this place and am delighted to assist when I can.
Cyn Posted August 11, 2007 Author Report Posted August 11, 2007 Liset, Thanks for getting back so quickly with the update, magic!
GM Mike Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 When you run a search in HOTWIRE it returns the list of qualty levels/locations available. If you click on "See hotel details" for any of those options, there is a box in the top left that lists the total cost after taxes/fees.(And always remember, any resort fees/telephone access surcharges/parking/etc. that the hotel charges are in addition to those fees.)
