Shahar Posted August 12, 2007 Author Report Posted August 12, 2007 I'm looking for something around 150 US$ a night for the best hotel this amount of money can buy. If the hotels outside the city are better hotels, I prefer this option.
thereuare Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 Is the airport zone acceptable as well? It seems to be quite a ways from the city itself.Do you already have you plane tix? mucsea2003 Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 As this is during Oktoberfest and Oct 3rd is Germany's national holiday I wouldn't be overly optimistic about this one. But others have been successful even during Oktoberfest., so give it a shot. Any of the hotels reported in Munich so far are close to public transport so you should be fine at any of these. The airport zone is indeed way out there. But if you get the Airport Marriott you would still be close to the train which would take you downtown in about 45 minutes.
Shahar Posted August 14, 2007 Author Report Posted August 14, 2007 I already have the flight ticket. The airport area sounds great! Can you recommend how much should i bid for each star level? Thanks again! :)

mucsea2003 Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 Since you have tons of time left, I would recommend to start even lower at about $60. You can bid 3 times every day using the city centre zones as rebid zones.
