Balapavan
Not helpful. It does explain (and I have read this before) how to rebid. But, what regions have a particular star rating and which ones dont? How do you know? It doesnt seem that the hotel list for Seattle is up-to-date either (for ex. there is no Doubletree in Bellevue anymore!! Pragaon is still listed, which is closed now).Hence, I ask again, does anyone know what the safe re-bid zones are for seattle for a 4*?Thanks! Link to comment
WillTravel
You have to figure it out yourself, each time you bid, in order to know you have up-to-date information. Because Seattle has a lot of zones, it's a time-consuming process. Link to comment
vayla
You find the rebids on the Priceline site itself, by checking the boxes (one at a time) for each zone and then see which star levels light up. As of today (it can change day to day), every zone except Bellevue and Downtown are free rebids for 4* (in other words there are no 4* hotels in those zones). So if you want Bellevue but don't want Downtown, don't check Downtown or you might get something there. Link to comment
thereuare
But, what regions have a particular star rating and which ones dont? How do you know? From Priceline Re-Bidding Explained:The way to check what star levels are available in each zone is to open a Priceline page, check ONLY the zone you are inquiring about, and then proceed to the next page (as if you were going to select a zone)... this will give you the available star ratings in that area. You can then hit BACK on your browser, uncheck the current box, check the next box, and repeat the process. It is important to do this before EACH attempt at adding a zone that you really don't want, as new hotels can be added and the star ratings can change at any time. (NOTE: for most users Priceline has updated their interface making the above process easier... simply check a zone and note the highest star rating available within each zone, UNcheck that zone and checkmark the next zone, repeating the process) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
