Can you please add the date(s) of your stay to your thread and we'll edit the topic title accordingly. Also, can you confirm that this is rated 3* by Priceline (no info regarding an upgrade on your confirmation screen?)... this has previously been reported at the Resort level and retail product currently lists this as 4*.

I knew I wanted to stay in Scottsdale so I did my search with 3 stars in Scottsdale adding locations that did not have 3 stars as my bids were not won.

I started at $60, went to $65, then $70, then $80. I might recommend you do $75 as this may have been won at $75.

I checked reviews on the web and they are mixed. It will be interesting to see how much respect I get as a priceline customer.

call a few days before your arrival and ask if you can be put in one of the renovated rooms, call around mid morning and if you don't feel good vibes from the agent, just call back and hope to get someone else more sympathetic. Don't be surprised if you are hit with a daily resort fee. The grounds were immaculate during my stay two years ago, but some of the rooms were Holiday Inn-ish, nothing special.

If you can get a suite upgrade for not much more I think you would be very happy with this hotel. The one level suites are nice.
