Priceline Hotel: 3* DC (Crystal City) Hilton

Was looking for 3* in either DC Convention Center or Crystal City, with Conv. Ctr. as a slight preference. Only one re-bid zone (Springfield) at the 3* level, so had to be patient and do bidding over a couple of days.

Bidding history:

$48 Conv. Ctr

$52 Conv. Ctr + Springfield

Waited 24 hours

$55 Conv. Ctr (after this bid I was offered the opportunity to increase my bid by $15, which I declined)

$57 Conv. Ctr + Springfield

$48 Crystal City

$52 Crystal City + Springfield (after this bid I was offered the opportunity to increase my bid by $14, which I declined)

$54 Crystal City + Conv. Ctr - ACCEPTED - Crystal City Hilton

I also received "red flags" on most of my bids, indicating the bid had very little chance of succeeding. I ignored those as always.

Started the bidding through Savingsbarn.com
