BBtrips Posted October 28, 2006 Report Share Posted October 28, 2006 I did my bidding at a 2.5* level. The HGI reported there is very nice....Started at Macarthur at $40, added rebid at $43. Then restarted a bid Macarthur and Wading River at $45, got a counteroffer. Ignored and rebid again at $48. Got upgraded to the 3* Radisson, which is a pretty nice hotel and beats the Holiday Inn by a mile. $60 and change all in. This happened less than one hour from the 11PM cutoff time. When I checked in they showed me a folio with a $48 rate, not sure if it is what PL paid the hotel (and therefore this was the minimum bid needed) or not.Note: USING WADING RIVER IS NOT A REBID!! !I was ready to go there if needed.
