Priceline Hotel: PL says inadvertently put 2* but wanted 4* -won the 2*

On my second try --after studying and studying-- I put in 77 for a downtown hotel in Austin on July 14 and 15 but when it came back it said I "won" in a 2* hotel in a remote area. WHAT CAN I DO TO UPGRADE THIS?

Priceline wins are non-refundable. Very few, if any, have had luck otherwise. This reiterates the need to check and double check info before clicking "Buy My Hotel Room."

We'd certainly appreciate knowing what hotel you received, in which zone. Please start a thread for it in the Texas Priceline Bids section. As was noted, it's very difficult to make any changes. However it is possible someone here knows the hotel you received and can offer you some suggestions?

Priceline does have a best price guarantee. Have you checked around to see what this hotel has for a rate thru other sites? Maybe you could get some of your bid refunded at least.
