LoneStar Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 Wow, a 4 star hotel in Europe for $45!! Didn't think that was possible.Brussels does tend to be among the cheaper places to stay, though. I paid $50 for the Sheraton on priceline a couple years ago.
anyway Posted June 3, 2006 Report Posted June 3, 2006 I wouldn't stay at this hotel even for free. Their Priceline rooms are horrible, hardly 2*. I hope you experience will be better, Eeyore. Try to get a room on higher floors.
LoneStar Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 I wouldn't stay at this hotel even for free. Their Priceline rooms are horrible, hardly 2*. I hope you experience will be better, Eeyore. Try to get a room on higher floors.Don't know about how they treat priceline guests, but the tripadvisor reviews are, in general, fine. I don't think you can go wrong with a Crowne Plaza in Europe for $45, even if it's not a fantastic hotel.
anyway Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 There are a couple of 1* reviews from Priceline guests on tripadvisor. And I can confirm that they treat Priceline guests badly. This hotel is the reason why I don't use Priceline for Brussels anymore. I wasn't expecting it to be fantastic, but for $57 (45 + tax) you get smelly room with worn and broken furniture. There are better hostels in Brussels for the same price, or try Hotwire, they have more zones.Again, if you'll manage to get room on non-Priceline floor, it is quite nice hotel. I wasn't so lucky.
LGAflyer Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 Maybe having gold elite status with Priority Club would help avoid the worst rooms? All one has to do is get the Priority Club Visa...
faithful96 Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 I've stayed at this hotel as a Priceline guest. Our room was average and they treated us very nicely. The concierge made dinner reservations and various telephone calls for us.
