In regards to the hotel above, assuming you are on the PRICELINE bidding page (and not PRICELINE EXPRESS), the description provided is not for the specific hotel that you're bidding on, but rather those are characteristics of everyhotel in the zone at that star rating. So even though PRICELINE has not yet even checked inventory or availability for your dates, they do know that every hotel in the zone at the 3.5* rating (or higher) has a pool, restaurant, business center, fitness center and allows pets... so they can therefore list these as guaranteed amenities since any hotel you win in the zone at this star level would have these amenities.
