Seems like this is a busy one for Vegas - all of my hotel offers have had some great rates, with the exception of the weekend we need a nice room! Of course!

Love the board - haven't been able to use it yet for a win posting, but hoping to do so this time around.

After accessing Hotwire through your sticky link, I am trying to determine the hotels that these might be:

$53 a night, 4.5 Star, West of Strip area, 85% recommended

Amenities: Free parking, casino, fitness center, pool(s), restaurant(s), business center, High speed internet, golf nearby, tennis nearby, spa services

$55 a night, 4.5 star, West of Strip area, 85% recommended:

To add to this - tried to use the hotel list to determine what it is on my own, but nothing matched up properly. West Summerlin is listed seperately on hotwire, so didn't think it aligned to these which were classified as "west of strip area" (no Summerlin mention)

Please provide a follow-up for your prior Chicago Hotwire and Scottsdale Hotwire threads (post what you decided for those stays in those threads, even if you did not go, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to take a look and we would be happy to try to ID the above listing.)

The Palms Place is a match for the 4.5* hotel(s) above and that would be my best guess for this one.

My visit is 4/7~11.

I went for 4.5* west of strip area hotel with the same amenity above.

I won Palms Place after all.

Nice! Thanks - good to know. Still debating on if we want palm place but its apparently country music awards weekend, do I don't think we have much choice. Has anyone ever stayed at this property?

I think the room at Palms Place (not Palms) is as decent and modern as Palazzo.

The primary reason that marks this property down to 4.5* seems to be a distance to the Strip.

If transportation is an issue for you, they have a free shuttle 10am to 5pm that brings you to Fashion show mall.

The hotel Rio, that is only one block away from Palms, has a free shuttle from 10am to 1am, bringing you to Ballys or Harrahs.

Thanks, it does! We rented a convertible so no issues there. How's the pool area?? That's our biggest thing for Vegas in April is a nice pool.
