We are planning a trip to Safari West & looking for a comfortable, nearby, family hotel

Sorry i missed the star rating in your first post for that property as i see you did include it...

For the 3* Healdsburg - Windsor property my guess would be the Holiday Inn Express Windsor-Sonoma County.

Are you sure you have the amenities correct on the 4* Santa Rosa property as i'm seeing something very similar but slightly different when searching HOTWIRE for your dates:

I DID end up booking a hotel thru Hotwire in Florence Italy, and you guys were dead on with your prediction.
