Hi!

Hotwire has what appears to be two great deals, one for Gaslamp Quarter South - Horton Plaza area, and one for Gaslamp Quarter North - Horton Plaza area for Saturday November 24-25. I'm trying to narrow down the hotels that I could get going down each path. I love the Omni but have noticed that the Keating hotel has a special for $88 a night and I'm fearful I'll end up at that hotel.

Best guess for the Gaslamp Quarter North property would be the Westgate Hotel.

For the Gaslamp South property, i'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

You are correct - the postings from yesterday are gone. We appear to have a large time difference as I am located in PST. What's strange is when I just looked there are three options for the South Quarter now:

1. $85 (no mention of usual price per night)

went ahead and purchased and received the hotel indigo. I'm originally from San Diego so this is not a score for me unfortunately. :(

Also, this hotel is listed as a 3.5 star hotel on hotels.com, not a 4 star hotel as listed on hotwire. AND this is a pet-friendly hotel so those with allergies, like myself, should stay away from this one!

I had been traveling for most of the last 2 weeks, spending time with family during the day and catching up on posts late at nite/early morning, which is why the odd posting times.

As you listed three different hotels above, can you please indicate which one you purchased and confirm the amenities that HOTWIRE associates with it.

This is a pet-friendly hotel but that is not listed in the amenities on hotwire (however is on hotels.com and travelzoo).
