jetsonbayou Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 For the 7/13-7/16, I tried to get a 4* hotel in the French Quarters for $60. For an additional $17, they would let me rebid. I declined.I tried to get a 4* for $60 in the Convention Center. Again, I was declined.Lastly, I tried $65 for the French Quarter and Convention Center. I was accepted at the Omni Royal Crescent.

TJewel Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Jetsonbayou, could you please write a review on theis hotel when you return? I won a 2 nite stay here in November for $60 and the reviews I read on TripAdvisor.com are mixed.
jetsonbayou Posted June 25, 2005 Author Report Posted June 25, 2005 Defenitely. The Omni in Houston is considered one of the nicer hotels. However, after teading tripadvisor for this particular hotel, I will go in with low expectations. I just want a clean and quiet room with a great fitness area.
jetsonbayou Posted June 25, 2005 Author Report Posted June 25, 2005 thereuare,I am more of a newbie to priceline. You totally make sense about lowering the bid if you lower the quality. What was I thinking? Thanks for the advice.
