Hotwire Hotel: 3* Sacramento (Roseville - Rocklin - Lincoln) Holiday Inn Express Roseville

This one really has me stumped. I'm looking for a hotel in this area of Sacramento and it's listed as $53 for Friday Sept 6th. It's for one night and is recommended in 95% of hotwire reviews.

Amenities

Breakfast, Fitness, pool, business, laundry, internet, golf

The thing that's stumping me is that hotwire says this hotel typically charges a resort fee? What? I can't imagine a hotel with 3 stars in this area charging a resort fee.

Are there any chain hotels out there now that are charging this?

My best guesses (aside from resort fee) are Hyatt Place, Staybridge Suites, Residence Inn, and a few others like that in this area. Thanks for the help!

I've stayed at this Holiday Inn Express, very recently in fact, and they do NOT charge a resort fee. If this is the HIE (and I think it probably is) the Hotwire listing is in error. Roseville-Rocklin isn't a resort area and to my knowledge no hotels in Roseville-Rocklin area charge a resort fee.
