mini__me Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Scored this the other night for short stay in Philly between my other trips to Vegas and Miami.Started bidding at $44 was imediately offered $56 for the nights, I hadn't used any free rebid zones so just worked my way up till it took $51.An awesome rate, at an awsome hotel for a gameday weekend I think!!!

mini__me Posted June 3, 2005 Author Report Posted June 3, 2005 Pretty sure it was $50 as I skipped to $46 then went up $ at a time as I thought it would probably come in around halfway, with the 4*'s in Philly there are plenty of rebid zones and I have plenty of time till the trip.

It has been my experience that if you have a "free rebid zone" and bid somewhere between your initial bid and the couterbid offerer by Priceline you will frequently get the hotel.
