yossarian Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 We just bid $110 for USE San Francisco and got the Grand Hyatt for 10/7-10/9. We probably bid a bit high as we could have landed a deal with a flight that would have worked out to $150/night, taxes included. Our savings are only about $20/night, after adding in Priceline fees and taxes. But $40 is $40 and this is the very hotel we wanted.

Colfax Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 It's a refreshing change to see someone win a great 4* deal on their very first bid. This summer most bidders have needed to do dozens of bids over days and weeks before they have something....and usually for a much higher price than $110. Enjoy your stay!
