Hotwire Hotel: help id la jolla

I need help with identifying a lo jolla hotel wich is two stars with ammenities wich are high speed internet pool and complimentary breakfast! The only thing I could think of is this is a two star that was recentaly downgraded from a three star. My guesses would be the holliday in express la jolla? this for the july 24 through the 31 at a rate of 111. thanks you for the help!

I believe I figured out the the three star hotel in la jolla wich has six ammenites breakfast pool internet laundry business center and smoke free rooms. I think it is best western in by the sea I maybe wrong but if that is it, it is still cheaper to book directly with the hotel by about a hundred dollars!

I'm not sure of this one. I think it could be either Quality Inn & Suites North Coast OR EconoLodge Moonlight Beach, but I lean towards EconoLodge.

The listing has a 3/5 TripAdvisor rating and the Quality Inn is the only hotel in Encinitas rated 3/5 right now. But Quality Inn has smoking rooms and this listing has a Smokefree icon, so it's not a perfect fit. If you purchase and it turns out to be Quality Inn you'd be entitled to a refund if you want because the Smokefree icon shouldn't be there.

EconoLodge is nonsmoking and the icons fit but Econo has a 3.5/5 TripAdvisor rating. When TA ratings change it takes a while for Hotwire to get the update, so despite the mismatch this could still be EconoLodge, not yet displaying a recent TA upgrade to 3.5.

The 3* Encinitas is $133 for 2 adults/2 children and from your other thread you've got a backup already reserved at $119. Are you still interested in the Encinitas 3* at this price?

yes if it is the best western because parking is free and it is alot nicer hotel than the best western in la jolla but from trip adivisor I am afraid it might be the howard johnson.

My best guess for the 3* is Holiday Inn Express Encinitas-Cardiff Beach. The hotel is in Cardiff-by-the-Sea but that town is within Hotwire's Encinitas zone.

The Hotwire listing has a 4/5 TripAdvisor rating, which matches the HIE. The Best Western is 3.5/5.

The HIE-Cardiff seems to have good reviews, maybe better than the Best Western you were trying for. What about HIE would be a mistake? Will you stick with your $119 at Best Western La Jolla then?

yeah I am sticking with the best westernin la jolla because of location the other is good but next to a freeway and quite a ways from walking to beach. thanks for everything still have plenty of time to loook for deals and I Imagine it will take a bit before the hotels know what they have empty for that weekend since it is so far away!
