This matches the description on the hotel list for Holiday Inn Express Sea World Area (De Soto Street), but it's listed as a 3*.

Also, the Tripadvisor rating for Holiday Inn Express Sea World Area is 4. Maybe Hotire didn't update it yet?

We would really like to stay here if this is it. Please help.

Welcome to the board.

This is a little confusing to explain.

There are two different Holiday Inn Expresses in the Sea World zone. HIE-San Diego Mission Beach (on De Soto) and HIE San Diego-Sea World (on Jupiter).

The HIE in the Hotel List is the Mission Beach one and it's listed as 3*. The HIE on Jupiter hasn't been reported before. A few days ago another poster bought a 2.5* and it turned out to be HIE-Mission Beach. It's been downdraded to 2.5* and the Hotel List isn't updated yet.

So I think this is HIE-Mission Beach (not HIE-SeaWorld) downgraded to 2.5*.

We ended up staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Jupiter, booked through their website, for its proximity to Sea World.
