silkyworm Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 Know what this hotel might be? The "Tennis" amenity doesn't appear in any of the hotels in the Hotwire Hotel List.Amenities:Complimentary BreakfastPoolBusiness CenterLaundryTennis Facility
yellowdog Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 I'm sorry to say that a 3* property with this amenitie combo has not yet been reported/ID'd to the board. And i don't know the area well enough to take an educated guess for this. But if you change your search to 2 adults+ 1 child is there a 3* W/Complimentary Breakfast, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Laundry. This is a match for the La Quinta Inn Fremont. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link, and let us know how it goes or if you need any additional help with your stay.Yellowdog.
silkyworm Posted February 25, 2011 Author Report Posted February 25, 2011 I need to make sure the hotel I get is pet-friendly, so unfortunately I won't be using Hotwire for this trip. Otherwise I'd love to find out which hotel has tennis as their amenity. I might have another opportunity to try it next month with a different client traveling to this same area. We'll see...
AaronJB Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 Unfortunately, there's no way to guarantee a pet-friendly property on either service. If one can make a guess that a particular listing is a pet-friendly hotel, there's no guarantee that it's not a new property with the same amenities as a previously reported property. I've thought it would be a good idea for HOTWIRE to start showing a "pet-friendly" icon, but unfortunately, that's not offered yet. In terms of regular rates, FROST11 is a coupon code that should work for $10 off on Expedia.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or Expedia or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Colfax Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Otherwise I'd love to find out which hotel has tennis as their amenity.Hotwire's "Tennis" icon is misleading. It doesn't mean the hotel has a tennis court. Click on the icon and it says a tennis court is within walking distance or "a short drive", without defining what "short" means. Same thing with the "Golf" icon. I've seen hotels display a Golf icon when the nearest golfcourse was a couple miles away.
