Starting my bidding on the low side, but without any success.

Started by bidding for 4* at $70, no luck.

Increased the bid for 4* to $80, no luck.

Tried for 3.5* - 4* at $75, no luck.

Plan to increase my bids tomorrow and try again.

I think this might take $100+ on PRICELINE...still less than 50% of best available retail. HOTWIRE's only Downtown option is a 4* at $164.

Your Friday night, 3/11, looks much less expensive than the other two nights. If you're willing to split your bid and possibly stay at two hotels you might get a better rate for 3/11 alone.
