  1. Amenities Business center, Fitness center, Internet access, Pet friendly, Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry, Smoke-free rooms Accessibility Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired Cost was $106 per room, plus tax (around $272 for the two rooms). However, site said that the hotel would be charging an addition "resort fee" of around $15 per room, so total is going to be just over $300.
  2. I finally decided to book this, but slightly different dates 3/23 - 3/25. Got 2 rooms for $127 each (plus tax.....lots of tax). As anticipated, it was in fact, the Westin Memphis Beale Street hotel. Thanks for your help.

  4. Got this deal on my first bid, so I'm thinking tat I could have started lower.....oh well, still happy with the deal.
  5. An ok deal, but Phoenix Inn Suites are really more of a 2.5* hotel, but Hotwire likes to call it 3*. Amenities: Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), High-Speed Internet Access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower
  6. The date I'm trying for is 3/16/13 - 3/17/13 (just one night). I tried the BiddingHelper with some limited luck. It does open the PRICELINE / HOTWIRE pages in their respective tabs. That said, on the Hotwire tab, when I turn-off options for 1* and then for 2* hotels, the display rendering on the iPad gets pretty wacky and becomes largely unusable. Note that I'm on iOS 6.1.2.
  7. I'm trying to ID this hotel and think it might be the Club Quarters in San Francisco, but any thoughts would be appreciated. Free Internet Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Note that I have been trying to use your site to enter my Hotwire hotel parameters and link to HOTWIRE, but I keep getting errors. Note that I'm on my iPad and I do think it was working ok on my Windows PC. I don't recall the specific errors, but it was some type of XML or web server error information (or something similar). I'd suggest you look into this, as there are probably others unable to support you by using the Hotwire search from their iPad.
  8. Didn't see how to update original post to clarify subject with win, but.... Bid $65 again on 3.5* and it told me to up bid to $82 to try again. Tried bidding for 3* for $60 and no luck. Went back to bidding 3.5* and decided to up offer. $70 failed, but $74 got the deal. I was correct that it was the Crowne Plaza. Pretty good deal; saved around $25 compared to Expedia and $9 less than Hotwire.
  9. I think the Crowne Plaza is the only 3.5* in this area and is available on Hotwire for $80. Started bidding on Priceline at $45 and increased bids in $5 increments to $65, but no luck. Considering going to $70 which would still be a good deal, but also thinking of trying for 3* and seeing if I have any better luck. However would prefer not to get Phoenix Inn, so a little hesitant of going to 3*. Any thoughts / suggestions would be appreciated.
  10. I should have mentioned that this win was for the Phoenix Inn Tigard (9575 Sw Locust St, Tigard,OR,97223); NOT the nearby one in Lake Oswego.
  11. Started bidding at $60 for 3.5* in Portland (Downtown). If offered to let me bid again immediatly if I increased the bid to $76. Instead, I added other zones that did not have 3.5* hotels and incremented bid to $65 and then to $70, which was accepted. Good news is also that self-parking is only $22, compared to $30+ at some other properties. I'm very happy with this deal :-)
  12. I should have also noted that I tried bids of $50 and $55 on Priceline for 3* and didn't get a win, so decided to take this deal. Might have gotten a somewhat better deal if I kept with Priceline, but decided this was good enough.
  13. I'm almost sure it is the Phoenix Inn (a so-so place - no better than 2.5* but with breakfast included, decent value). I just posted my hotel purchase on hotwire for $67 on 6/19 -6/21 and amenities are an almost exact match. Deal was $8 better than Expedia price.
  14. Indoor pool(s) Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Free Parking Free Breakfast In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Before going for this option, I was trying for a 3.5* on Priceline (likely the Crowne Plaza). Tried bids of 50, 55 and 60. Then decided to just go for this basic hotel that I was pretty sure was the Phoenix Inn (but sort of hoping for elsewhere). Saved just a little compared to Expedia, but an ok price; but really not a 3* place (2.5* at best).
  15. Seems like a pretty good rate for this hotel, but I should have started bidding lower; won this on my first bid. Oh well :-0
