Im new to the site but it looks impressive,great work!

Im looking at a 3.5 star hotel in San Diego on HOTWIRE.

Details: 2 Aug to 9 Aug

$96 per night

Downtown - Harbor Island Area Hotel

Airport shuttle, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business centre,high-speed internet

Recommeded by 75% of hotwire customers

Any ideas on which hotel this could be?

We have not seen any 3.5* properties reported to the board with this amenity combination. HOWEVER, the Sheraton has been seen with these amenities but at the 4* level, while the Doubletree, Harborview Suites, and Quality Inn have all been seen with this amenity combination at the 3* level.

My best guess is that the Doubletree has been upgraded to the 3.5* level, followed by the Sheraton Downgraded to the 3.5* level and thse would be my best gusses for this property above. The Harborview Suites doesn't match the Tripadvisor rating HOTWIRE shows for this property, and i don't think it's likely that a Quality Inn would be rated 3.5* by HOTWIRE, so i think these two are distant possibilities.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to "look behind the curtain". If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.
