TravelPhotographer Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Visiting tourist areas of Philadelphia. Picking zones. As far as crime/safety, is there any difference between the 2 zones?(aware most attractions downtown)
dahammer Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 There are only a few hotels reported in the University zone: Hilton and Sheraton. Both are close to the U of P campus, and not really convenient to the tourist areas. I couldn't say if either PRICELINE zone were safer than the other. I would try HOTWIRE as they offer a zone called "Old City-Penns Landing" which is in the heart of the tourist areas and a very walkable part of the city. Good luck!
