Hotwire Hotel: Help ID 3* in Bakersfield

Stopping in Bakersfield for one night on 7/23. I see a 3* for $65 with the only amenity as a pool. It gives a 90% rating stating 40+ reviews.

I'm seeing a different 3* than you, one with six icons, for $55.

Are you searching on "2 adults/0 children" or some other combination?

Thanks for the quick response. I should have noted, I'm searching 2 adults/2 children. We're going to need two beds.

Almost any hotel in Bakersfield will have a pool, so a Pool icon alone isn't very helpful, and no TripAdvisor stats are given, which would help with the ID. (The "90%" and "40+ reviews" you see refer to Hotwire reviews, not TripAdvisor reviews, and Hotwire reviews don't help with hotel IDs.)

When searching on 2/0 I see a 3* hotel with six icons:

Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Laundry, Highspeed.

The 2/0 hotel has the same 90% positive and 40+ reviews that you found when searching 2/2. So it's likely the 2/0 and 2/2 options are the same hotel displaying two alternate icon sets.

Unfortunately the 2/0 icons haven't been reported to the board either, so I still can't match. If I had to guess I'd say this is Holiday Inn Bakersfield North or possibly new icons for the Marriott Convention Center. That's almost a guess though, and there are several other possibilities.

With a 90% approval rating I think you can feel confident it's a decent place, whatever it is, but I'm unable to make a more definitive ID.
