The maps are amazing! You guys are geniuses in coming up with them.

Our Candadian friends to the North have been asking when there would be a map within their own boundaries, and thanks again to blindman who has collected the data, we're happy to oblige them!

Since they waited so long, we're also using the Toronto maps to show off two new formats which are possible and contain some new features which we believe make the maps even more useful. We have set up a poll in order to get user feedback regarding which features and format you would like to have going forward.

Please vote in THIS POLL where you will also see links to the three available formats.

Regarding the right hand-panel view - I'd definitely like it best, but it's not quite ready for prime time yet. Looking at it in Firefox, the map obscures the right hand panel and you need to scroll too much to see the whole list.

up and running... and with the hotel names popping up when you put the mouse over a marker. :)

Another addition:

San Diego Priceline Maps are now available.

This map uses new code which incorporates the maps into the "look and feel" of BetterBidding. Please let us know if anyone has trouble loading this map (where the other maps in the first post of this thread have no problems loading)

As always, please report any errors/mistakes that you may find.

What browser (and version if you know how to check) are you using?

Do the other maps, in the first post of the PRICELINE MAP thread, load correctly or is this the only one giving you a problem? (it does take a brief moment for the map to load)

This is an absolutely wonderful addition to this site. This was already my favorite place to go for information on bidding, and this mapping function has added so much information in such a convenient format it's amazing. Sorry for the delay, but some other projects got in the way...

Code is coming with me on my trip as there should be plenty of downtime during my flights (assuming the baby sleeps for some of it :) )

would be even better if you could 'draw' a circle round an area and it gave you a summary of the hotels there..... just throwing another idea in!

We are now all caught up and have no more data to compile. If users would like other cities please send us a PM and if you would like to help gather data (no technical konwledge other than cut/paste is required) please let us know via PM.

Newest addition added....

Las Vegas Priceline Map is now available.

As the opaque providers are often not the best deal when bidding less than 5* in Las Vegas, and given the proximity of all the hotels on the strip, we are considering adding non-Priceline hotels won to this map over the next few days, but currently only hotels previously won and reported are on the map.

If anyone is willing to help compile data for additional maps please let us know.

I was looking at the NY map and when checking the Crowne Plaza MTW I see a few wins listed for CPs at LGA and Albany that need to be moved some time.

This map is so cooooooooooooooooool. Thanks for putting these together.

But i can't believe that i did not pay the attention to it (the link) until today (I am so stupid!).

So I have a suggestion, make the link a little bigger, and/or may be in a bright color. So no one will miss it.

There are so many things that i would like to highlight, that if we did them all, once again nothing would once again stand-out as intended. :)

Map is great!

I will travel next summer to NY will stay in Jersey city. how far from the subway/path or ferry station is each hotel? can you include it on the map? will be a good tool to make a better decision.

A BIG THANK YOU to Irish6004 who wanted to see their hometown in a map...

We now have PRICELINE MAPS FOR Niagara Falls and Buffalo (this covers both the Canada and United States sides)

Hopefully this encourages others to volunteer to put their own hometowns (or nearby cities if their town is already covered or not large enough) and we can continue to rollout more and more priceline maps.

Any problems with the new link/map above please let me know.
