Expedia has Circus Circus open for 3-31 and 4-1 @$67 and 4-2 @ $126.I dont know if circus is a option for you,but its a cheap place to sleep for 3 nights if you can put up with the kids.Circus Circus web site is even cheaper and you might be able to cancel if you find something better.

If you want to change hotels you can get the Venetian right now on April 4-6 for $99 or less.I am still working on the other days.If you bid the V start at $79 and use free rebids to $99 for those two days.If you do bid those nights and get the Venetian you might contact priceline and see if you can add a night or two and see what rate if available they offer.

I saw that also when checking rates and I dont think its ES.Most ES hotels are 3.5 that are not as nice as the San Diego downtown location.I just got back from a 3 day stay at that ES and would love to think its now available on hotwire for less then half the lowest rate.If you take the chance please let us know,I stay here 4 to 5 times a year.

Yep if you bid *4 you could end up at the westin or the rio. (I think the rio is in the strip area now).I have stayed at both and the westin is only a two block walk to the strip and the rio has a free shuttle to Harrahs on the strip.Westin is nice but it dont have that big casino felling.

Looks like 4/14 is your problem night with a higher rate then the other nights.you might be able to get the V right now for $99 on the frist two nights but I think it will take $109,its $122 today on hotwire.

The wyndham is 5 mins from the airport if your flying in.It looks to be a nice hotel but dont leave any valuables in the car that can be seen,because it is a airport location and the thieves love the hotel parking lots out here in AZ.

Free rebid for a *5 is any zone without a *5 hotel in it.I think in vegas thats all the zones but double check that on pricelines site by picking each zone and see if any have a *5.

If the counter offer was $110,I would start at $90 and use your free rebids going up $2 or $3 each time.I think with a counter offer of $110 that $99 will be the magic number at this point.

I would jump on a back-up at luxor for that price.Did you check special rates on the Vs web site?Sometimes you can find $119 there.

A lot of times I see a very high rate on hotwire and go to the hotels website and its sold out.Just something to think about before you take that chance.

I think with hotwire the rates have a lot to do with the time of day you check the rates.I have been trying for San diego rooms for a month and always get a better rate frist thing in the morning then I do in the afternoon.

I dont see the Orange county Hyatt (Harbor blvd)listed in the hotels that have come up on hotwire,is this right or am I missing it?

March 17th - 21st 4* restaurant,fitness center $115 per night.Any ideas on what this one could be? Has anyone seen the Manchester Grand Hyatt come up on any recent hotwire accepted bids?I would like the grand for a few nights between march 12-21.any two or three nights together.

I would call the knowen 5*s to come up in this area and see if any have the spa closed for remodel,or just plain closed.(boulders)

I bid this for a friend,started at $80 with a counter offer of $121 that I turned down and rebid $90,$95,$100,$105,and got accepted at $109.I think these dates will go lower but my friends didnt want to chance losing the V over $20 a night as it will be there frist stay there.
