  1. First bid on pricline was accepted at $99/ nite!!! Lowest rate on Marriot's site was $229/ nite!! No re-bids required.. shoulda coulda woulda...if "if and buts" were candies and nuts, every day would be Xmas!!! fenway68
  2. what price range would you bid for the 4* strip hotels...the person i am travelling with is hesitant on spending 99/nite, even tho it is a good deal for venetian...(wants to spend money on the tables...no doubt since little time to actually be spent in the room...) anyone know all the current 4* strip..i will check the posted list... thanks again.. f/w68
  3. now...what if i want to try a 4*..from what i understand h/w and p-line include what are truly off-strip properties in their "strip-search"...any thoughts....??? thanks so far, will def. try venetian tho in a couple of days f/w68
  4. will do...79 (99 too) would be great, worth the doubling of the gold coast rate to stay on the strip and at the venetian! you guys seem to have it "down" here...!! aint the internet awesome! f/w68
  5. you all seem so helpful i decided to ask-up before proceeding... i am travelling to vegas for 3 nites of fun April 12-15, have a booking at the gold coast so far for 40/nite, but in seeing the deals you all are able to get i thought i mite give it a try to get on the strip! dates: april 12-15, 2004 what should i expect to try for a reasonable bid? should i wait until the week before to try? or should i try now. is the only way to guarnatee (sp?) the strip to go for 5*(venetian)-or possibly get the westin (def. not on strip) thanks all f/w68
