I greatly overpaid/overbid by about 15 bucks too much probably (bid 85 before tax...my max) but hotel rates right now elsewhere (all parts of Boston city & other subburbs like Waltham, Newton and Cambridge) from mid-week until end of this week are insane.

Not bad at all :) ....wonder if I could get this bidding 75 instead of 80 before tax.

wow nice...... i'm looking at 20th to 23rd and don't see anything remotely that good.

A little out there from Boston proper but nice hotel and price.

Thin walls and all lol I'd take it this time of this month for that rate within the city of Boston.

Considering the prices of other hotel wins and that this is still a good location near Boston proper i'd say 85/night is fair even good considering it being a busy period. Gives me hope since I have boston plans in just under 1wk.

Curious why do you think there's such a huge gap in savings with his and the previous poster Nadine's win? Their stays are only around 1wk apart.

I stayed here my last richmond va visit.....loved it.

Had a recent stay there this month and If you sign up to the Hyatt's reward program before or at check-in (in my case this time at check-in) they might give you free internet and maybe a free room upgrade (standard king to double bed in my case) ..... if you need fridge and microwave it's just 15 bucks total for your whole stay.

Interesting....thought this was considered a 3.5* it's a nice chic hotel (sans needing keycard for the elevator and having to pay for extras like fridge, internet etc).

Never seen it for lower....i'd say 55 is about a steal. Unless you need to pay for parking too (22.50/night).

Update it's now $67/night.

I still can't use the HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links...I still get redirected. I got this a little late and winged it with what I saw at the time and got the Sheraton Crystal City from Hotwire for 79 but only from 8/8 to 8/10 and now there's a different 3.5* i'm curious about with a 90% recommend at $66 per/night and these amenities: Airport Shuttle Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Any guesses? ....it's not the Sheraton Crystal City because the Sheraton Crystal City has no pool. I hope it's not the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Crystal City (don't like it at all) which is really low on Kayak, Priceline, and Travelocity etc for just 79 (looking at the date 8/10 to 8/12)

I see a 3.5* Crystal City-Reagan National Airport DCA area hotel with: Indoor pool(s) Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Wheelchair accessible It's at 98 bucks a night and has only an 80% recommend. I am looking for Crystal City on PRICELINE also 3* or better (for under the listed Hotwire rate of 98 of course)..... really hoping for 85 maximum before taxes on Priceline. Dates 8/8-8/11

.....ESPECIALLY for it being a weekday stay. Nice deal, hotel brand and location.

Anyone know if this is a "need a key card for the elevator" hotel?
