  10. Priceline.express had it for $51, Hot.wire for $36. Booked this for my nanny, feeling very confident it was the Riviera, which is apparently the only LV strip hotel option for those not 21. Stated amenities were: Resort Free Parking Free Internet Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessibility Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Rate per night $36.00 Nights 4 Rooms (2 adults) 1 Subtotal $144.00 Tax recovery charges + fees $30.41 Hotwire total $174.41 $60 Resort Fee ($15/ni) will be collected at hotel, which Hotwire advised. Used Hot.wire and PRICELINE links on this forum to search and bid.
  11. I saw this hotel (or so I guessed) as express deal for $90 and on Hotwire for $86. This is in a new zone, North Huntington - Fountain Valley, not available in the current OC drop down list, so hopefully the moderators can fix that! I decided to try to bid, hoping to get it for less and I did. Started at $55 in this zone and then increased bids, adding Newport and Laguna Beach zones in subsequent bids (because i didn't think I could get a 3* or higher in these zones for this price) and had success at $75. Here are the details: Offer Price: avg. per room, per night US$ 75.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: US$ 75.00 Taxes & Fees: US$ 18.11 Total Charged to Card: US$ 93.11 I guess I only saved $10 off the Hot.wire Hot Rate and $13 off the PRICELINE EXPRESS rate, but the rate on the hotel's website was $189, $206 with taxes, so I really saved $113! Very happy. Seems like a nice hotel! Used the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links here to search and bid.
  12. I booked this today. PRICELINE EXPRESS had what I thought was Radisson for $65, so I've been trying the last few days to get it for less. Today I started at $54 and it countered at $62. Because I was unsuccessful @ $55 last night, I added the south zone as free rebid and bid $56 and won it. Seems to be a good deal for a downtown hote. We will have to pay for parking, but we knew that before bidding and figured in to the budget because we wanted to be downtown (despite what appeared to be some nicer hotels and/or better deals out by the airport -- those terms are relative, because by the airport most hotels had free parking, free breakfast, etc even though they were lower * rated). And, there is no longer a separate airport zone on PL, there are only two Winnipeg zones, Winnipeg and Winnipeg south. I limited my bidding to 3.5* hotels because I was pretty confident there were no 3.5* hotels by the airport. Details: Offer Price: avg. per room, per night US$ 56.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 2 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: US$ 112.00 Taxes & Fees: US$ 28.82 Total Charged to Card: US$ 140.82 Used Priceline links to search and bid.
  13. Just booked this morning. Hot.wire had 4* for 88, PRICELINE EXPRESS first had a 4* for $69 (which I thought was the Millennium) and later during my searches one popped up at $72 (it was different hotel because it was 8.0 rating or higher, where the $69 was only 7.0). In any event, there are lots of free rebid zones in for downtown Minneapolis. I started around $40 and worked may way up. At one point while bidding $52, I got counter for $62, which I assumed to be the Millenium. I closed the browser and started a new session and rebid at $50, and this time I got a counter at $71. I thought that was weird, but when I checked PRICELINE EXPRESS, it was no longer offering the 4* rated 7.0 at $69, but a 4* rated 8.0 for $71. At that point, I assumed the Millenium was no longer an option and I increased my bid to $60 with no luck. I then started searching for 3.5* hotel in downtown Minneapolis intended to go up to $60 before re-bidding on a 4* and increasing my bid, but when I was at $58 I won the Millennium (as an upgrade on a 3.5* bid). It was a weird bidding experience and I guess it just proves how quickly things can change. The Millennium would be my last preferred win, but it is fine for the night. Here are the details: Offer Price:$ 58.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: US$ 58.00 Taxes & Fees: US$ 16.15 Total Charged to Card: US$ 74.15 Used the Price.line and HOTWIRE links here to search and bid.
