Jshappy
For Friday November 30 for one night. Don't want to stay in West Hollywood especially. Would like Residence Inn in B.H. I noticed you advised if you bid 3* you are likely going to end up in WH, 4* BH. Is that still true? Stayed in the Hyatt WH once and hated it, weird decor, expensive parking and no where convenient to eat breakfast. Link to comment
blindman
What is you maximum budget?BTWThe Residence Inn is a 2.5* on PL.When you choose a * rating on PL this is the minimum rating you will get. It's always possible to get 'upgraded' to a higher level.Happens quite often with 2.5* This is a chance you have to take with PL. Link to comment
coast2coast21
What do you mean there are no convenient places to eat breakfast at the WH Hyatt? There's plenty of places, and the SaddleRanch is literally a 10 second walk. And parking is $18 a night at Hyatt I believe, which is fairly normal for LA. Link to comment
Colfax
Parking at the Res Inn is $20 and it's valet only! I stayed there last week via Priceline for $60 on a night when it was $159. For your night, tomorrow, it's $169.I'd suggest $60 for 2.5*, then add the only free rebid zone---Lawndale--at $75. I don't think $75 is enough to trigger an upgrade to 3*, which you don't want.Remember you could win some other 2.5* besides Res Inn.I hunted around the Res Inn neighborhood, Beverly and Pico, for a safe place to park overnite. Meters on main streets and numerous restrictions on adjacent unmetered streets, including no overnight parking without permit. Other than valet parking I really enjoyed the hotel. A full sized suite, well furnished, plus generous breakfast buffet included...not that I needed that the morning after Thanksgiving. Good luck! Link to comment
