There is no Wyndham at Jacksonviile Beach. The Wyndham is on the St John's River downtown. The Marriott at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra (the TPC -Sawgrass) is a 3.5 star hotel that shows up on PRICELINE. I don't know about HOTWIRE. The major hotels at Jacksonville Beach are all solid properties. Some are fairly new. Most are near the beach or on it. There is one hotel west of the inter coastal waterway near the Mayo Hospital. There are a few near Mayport Navy Base which are not great areas (but safe). Let me know what you get. I live in Jacksonville and it is nice to know what is showing up on HOTWIRE.

Hello, I don't know for sure which hotel this is but there are two chain hotels on the other side of AIA, which would be within easy walking distance. There are some smaller hotels as well but its likely a chain hotel. One is a Days Inn and the other is a Hilton Garden Inn. FYI, the historic area of St Augustine is not within walking distance of the beaches.

We spent 4 days at this hotel. We paid $190 a night which is a steal in this area of London. The location is outstanding. This is the best attribute of this hotel. In the middle of the theatre district, we rarely took the tube in this area as there was so much to do around the hotel. The hotel itself is interesting. It definitely caters to a younger "hip" crowd and is minimalist in style. Younger travellers would like this hotel (although this older one liked it too). The staff was extremely helpful and priceline was never mentioned. Our room was ready when we arrived, so we checked in early without a problem. The room was very small and very white. I sometimes felt we were in a picture puzzle (the kind you slide little blocks around until its arranged in a picture). It was very clean. You walked into the room through a small hallway. The room had a bed, small desk, small TV in a cabinet. A Murphy Bed would have been perfect as there was only walking room around the bed. It took most of the room. The lights above the bed were colors which you could changed. The hallway had a place to put your bag, hang clothes and shelves. This sounds horrible but in a strange way it worked well. Your hallway was sort of a walk in closet. The bathroom only had a shower but was large. Again, there was a shelving area that was very convenient. We asked for and was given a iron and ironing board. Do not pay for internet service at this hotel without first trying in your room. A nearby coffee house/ restaurant has open internet access which we could get in our room at all times. Despite its smallness, I loved staying in this hotel because of its location and friendly staff.

I've been to Rome several times. It's getting crowded! Stay in the Central zone on priceline. Make sure you don't dip to low in the star ratings. And, singles tend to be large closets! One last thing that, unfortunately, I have to stress to someone going to Rome for the first time -- watch your wallets and purses. Its the pickpocket capital of the world. Also make sure the restaurant will actually run a visa through before you order a meal. So many times they have claimed the machine is broken. (Anyone else having this problem in Italy lately?) This property is across the street from the Cleveland Public Library. In some rooms, you can pick up the Library's internet service which is, of course, free.
