  1. I just saw your priceline win, Simon. I posted my win in a separate thread, though. Thanks PL. Did use the PRICELINE link.
  2. Thanks for all the help this site offers. Took a few tries and finally got it. Saw the other guy got it for $95. $100 is just as good to me. Thanks Hilton Quebec 1100 Rene Levesque East Quebec, QC G1K 7K7 418-647-2411 Check-In: Thursday, July 1, 2010-03:00 PM Check-Out: Sunday, July 4, 2010-12:00 PM Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $100.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $300.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $66.60 (USD) Total Room Cost: $366.60 (USD)
  3. Thanks for the comments. One more question: is the bidding/winning price including tax and service charge? Thanks
  4. Help ID 3* Downto Quebec area hotel Amenities: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), High-speed Internet Access 3 star, $124 per night per room. It's for four adults. I did use the HOTWIRE link. Please help me id the hotel. Much appreciated.
  5. I never received any counter offer or tips about how much I should add to my bid. Why? Thanks in advance.
  6. Hi, -Been bidding for the Quebec city area using the PRICELINE link as recommended. -Prefer to stay close to the Old City and at least 3.5 stars. -Party will have 4 adults plus a baby so two rooms would be better. -The stay is for 3 nights from 7/1 to 7/4. -Bidded for 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, to no avail. I used both my wifes and my accounts to place bids alternatively. Question: I've seen lots of posters had won $50 hotels with 3.5 star rating. I understand the time slot is critical but I really don't want to spend more than 70 bucks since I'll be paying for 6 rooms all together. I never got the counter-offer. I also tried the 'expand the zone, increase the star' approach, again, to no avail. I also tried Hotwire and the hotel close to Old City is $129. I'm not sure if it's for a 2-bedded room. How can I check? Nevertheless, not really willing to pay that much. Please help. What did I do wrong? Did I miss something? I've been a long time lurker and never used PL/HW. I found this site very helpful. Anyway, any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Matt
  7. Wow, thank U so much~
  8. Hi, I'm new here. I have the same situation as Rudy. How can I tell when my flight will depart? Can anyone shed some lights on this matter? Thanks. And I WILL post my bid here afterward :)
